His Thoughts About the Book
"Moments of Forever took me just over four years to produce. It contains many of my own personal insights and reflections about the shared human condition drawn from years of observing human behavior. As a statement of my qualifications to write this book, I offer only that I am an authentic member of the human race, just as you. I do not consider myself to be an expert on human existence, self-proclaimed or otherwise. But I have been a student of human behavior for most of my life and I know how to relate my observations to people in ways that they can understand.
As an experienced counselor/educator, my entire career has been about helping others find their direction in life and I have encouraged and advised literally thousands of individuals over the years. I do not pretend to have all the answers to life's questions but I do know how to help people frame their questions and discover their own answers. I view myself more as a facilitator of thoughts and ideas.
I will admit that writing on the topic of forever while on this side of eternity is an immense and humbling challenge—yet it's an important exercise, and one that I take seriously. This book is needed in today's marketplace of ideas. There are people who desperately want to put their lives into greater context and who are searching for some of the guidance that this book can provide.
I believe in the optimistic message of this book but its true value will be up to others to judge. For those who choose to read it, I certainly hope they find it both insightful and useful. But this book was meant to be shared and it can achieve this purpose only if readers are willing to communicate their thoughts on the subject matter or recommend the book to others who might benefit from it. To be truly worthwhile, Moments of Forever must be shared."
